Lectrue week 9, last lecture by Jason :(

we were going to have a lecture about cyber etopia. but he changed his mind.
we had a lecture about Jason`s all everything gigantic and super lecture on how to teach yourself software!!

most of us aske for help without trying, and only staring at the screen, and not trying.! (in most cases i think he is right)

most of us have no idea on how the software realy works.
eksample, adobe flash (many programs use it, MTV for ex)
but adobe can be kind of crazy (jason said , and i quote "there is a lot of crazy crap"

a lot of things to go thru - software change.

he had a lost of diffrent steps on how to understand the diffrent software better,

- begin by figuring out what you need to do. "dont bring a tank to a water ballon fight" :) hahah
find the best software Package to what you need
(you don’t know what you need to do)
What you are looking fore.

You don’t learn software in a few days, it takes time.
Good software is designed to bee deep.
Play around with the soft ware. (open it and look!)
Software is an language, take time to understand it.
Aro tool (flash has two)

Look at the common features, you have been using some of it before, (you know about 20% of what is one it, that is common)


- Save your work!!! Hardrive space is cheep
- Save it a million times so you don’t loose your work.! As multiple versions
- But save it as somtjing you remember, and find again!



- Try the help file!
- But that is in fact more designed fore the people who already know the software, it is not the best options for beginners.


Try different methods, change it around, find the best way . try different ways! The exsample of looking the keys in your car, and the help come and, they try different ways, on the same time, when the first thing don’t work.

- If you are searching for help on Google, simplify you search sentences don’t use to many words.
- Find the best sides
- Macromedia Flash tutorials (is a good one to search on)
- DON’T PAY FOR ENYTHING! Cheap searching
- Find some good sides and search there! Best ways
- Join different forums, and ask the same question
- A good thing to do is to join forums, and ask questions
- But who will answer? And will they ansewer! Do some reasherch,
- Be specific on what you are looking for!
- Adnd chec up the sights, and the members, and what is been replied, and how long before the replies has been posted.

- Don’t fear tutorial books and videos (but don’t buy them, go to the library)

- Video tutorials works better, they showe you what too do!

- LINDA (think that’s how you spell it) this is a good sight (but here you have to pay)

Unless you steel them, but that is illegal
Commercials for piracy , downloading illegal they are going to drastic matures to stop people downloading, you catch on fire.

- Don’t take a course!
You need to learn it by your self (the best way to learn something)
Find it online, fore free.
Its all about content, its all coming down to content.
The biggest problem is that there is to many fancy tricks.

Remember, you what to create something different! Create something that don’t look like it is created in that software
Warning: be careful, what is cliché and what’s not
